Pink Larkin Welcomes New Litigation Lawyer, Sarah Makson, CIP
We are excited to welcome Sarah Makson, CIP, to our growing litigation team.
Sarah earned her law degree from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2012 and recently to the Nova Scotia bar after returning home to the east coast following a successful legal career in western Canada. Her career highlights include achieving partnership at one of Canada’s largest law firms.
Before practising law, Sarah worked as a commercial insurance broker, where she developed a keen interest in liability insurance. She expanded her knowledge by earning the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP®) designation through the Insurance Institute of Canada.
“Sarah brings extensive industry experience, and we are fortunate to have her join our litigation team,” says Ronald Pink, K.C., Managing Partner. “Her background in both law and insurance gives her the ability to offer a unique and holistic perspective that provides incredible value to clients and colleagues alike.”
Sarah’s practice focuses on construction litigation, insurance coverage, and tort liability. A skilled problem solver, she is committed to helping clients resolve disputes practically and efficiently while mitigating risks.
An advocate for civil rights and social action, Sarah served as volunteer pro bono counsel for Pro Bono Law Alberta for over a decade.
Welcome, Sarah!
