Pink Larkin is very pleased to announce that Jillian Houlihan, Nathan Sutherland and Brenda Comeau have been admitted to partnership with the firm.

Jill and Nathan are based in our Halifax office, and Brenda is based in our Fredericton office. All three have made outstanding contributions to the firm while practicing with the firm as associates, and will be an integral part of Pink Larkin’s continued growth.

Jill represents a full range of clients with a practice that includes labour and employment law, and appearances before labour and administrative tribunals, grievance arbitrators and professional regulatory bodies. She joined Pink Larkin in 2010 after practicing in Ontario at the Grey Bruce Community Legal Clinic in Owen Sound. She obtained her law degree in 2008 from the University of Toronto.

Nathan carries on a broad civil litigation practice, primarily focused on the areas of construction, commercial and insurance-related disputes. He also advises clients on issues related to natural resources and the environment. Nathan has appeared before all levels of the court in Nova Scotia, and regulatory bodies such as the Utilities and Review Board. He joined Pink Larkin in 2015 after practicing at a large Halifax firm. He graduated from Dalhousie’s law school in 2007.

Brenda’s practice with Pink Larkin is focused on providing legal services to trade unions in both the public and private sectors, and to professional self-regulated organizations. She also has a general litigation practice and represents clients before the Court of Queen’s Bench of New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. Before joining Pink Larkin in 2011, Brenda practiced litigation in Ontario. Brenda graduated in 2008 from law school at the University of Ottawa.
