Our construction expertise includes public and private procurement, infrastructure development, transportation, tendering and contracts, financing, and employment and labour – all with a significant focus on dispute resolution, including litigation.

We work with a full spectrum of Canadian and internationally based clients in significant construction disputes, including owners, contractors, architects and engineers. We act in disputes related to a variety of projects including offshore oil and gas installations, mining, hydroelectric energy, power distribution, transportation, infrastructure, and P3 projects. In addition, we regularly advise clients in negotiating and drafting procurement and construction agreements.

We provide experienced advocacy and representation in all forms of commercial litigation, and alternative dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation.

In addition to expertise in the construction and engineering fields, members of our firm provide counsel and act in related areas of construction law including, employment and labour, workplace investigations and safety, professional regulation and liability, and human rights issues related to occupational health and safety.

Many of our referrals come from other lawyers and institutions that either do not provide construction or construction litigation services, or who are unable to act for conflict of interest reasons.
