Peter Ashfield

Peter helps clients to resolve issues in labour and employment law and administrative law.

While studying at the University of New Brunswick Law School, Peter spent a summer working for a management association, and participated in arbitrations and many respects of the association’s labour relations efforts. Peter completed his Articles and practiced as an associate lawyer with a major regional firm before joining Pink Larkin in 2017.

He is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.

Prior to turning his attention to law, Peter worked as a biologist and coordinated conservation projects for an environmental group for 10 years. Now in an interesting twist of fate, he is on the Board of Directors of the Ville Cooperative Ltd., a not-for-profit organization focused on community-based educational and agricultural programs centred on sustainable living. He also serves as a coach with the Piranhas volleyball club.
