Nathan Sutherland

Nathan's practice includes construction, commercial and insurance-related disputes and regulatory law.

Nathan is a partner with Pink Larkin and practices primarily in the area of civil litigation.

Nathan’s broad commercial litigation practice is focused on complex construction, commercial and insurance-related disputes. He also acts in regulatory matters related to energy, natural resources, and the environment, and provides compliance and risk-mitigation advice to clients in these areas. Nathan has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, as well as in commercial arbitrations, and before regulatory bodies such as the Nova Scotia Utilities and Review Board.

Nathan is passionate about environmental issues and has served on the Board of East Coast Environmental Law (ECELAW), the only environmental legal organization with a consistent presence in Atlantic Canada.
