We provide trade unions with strategic counsel and advice on a range of issues regarding collective agreement negotiations, interpretation issues concerning constitutions and collective agreements, and governance issues.

Pension and Benefits
We provide legal advice to a wide range of pension and benefit funds, from small single-employer trusts to large multi-employer plans, on design and implementation of trusts for pension plans and health and welfare plans, advise trustees on fiduciary duties and governance, and litigate on their behalf.

Professional Regulation
We have a diverse practice in the area of self-regulated professions. Our lawyers represent professional bodies carrying out their regulatory mandates, as well as individual professionals facing professional discipline. In addition, members of the firm have served as Board chairs of, and as counsel to, professional disciplinary tribunals.
Criminal Law
We represent clients charged with offences under the Criminal Code of Canada, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Income Tax Act, and provincial offences under the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act and Motor Vehicle Act.
Municipal Law
